  Gave them every opportunity to address their problems, after leaving five messages over the past two months - I haven't heard back from anyone regarding any of my issues. Similar to paying for garbage/trash service only to transport your own trash to the landfill each month - Paying someone else for the work you'll ultimately do on your own.
  
  About a year ago I was looking for a lawn service to maintain the aesthetic appearance of my lawn through weed nullification and sustainment of scheduled fertilizer applications. In discussing my wish to replace my front and side yard with Bermuda grass along with a desire to install a sprinkler system - the sales person indicated his company (Southern Green) could provide all services to my satisfaction.
  
  After arranging removal of the centipede lawn from the front and sides of my yard through a contractor, I hired Paul (Owner of Southern Green) and his team which came in to install the sprinkler system and lay Bermuda sod (since I had already agreed to a yearly service for lawn application), which they completed over a 3-day period. While satisfied with the installation itself, 1. I was not provided the remaining third of a pallet which wasn't laid - though I was charged and paid for full pallets of sod, and 2. adjustments to the sprinkler system scheduled for 2 weeks after installation were never carried out. I indicated at that time that I was pleased with the irrigation system and sod, and was informed that applications would only further enhance the aesthetic appearance of the yard.
  
  I included all that to say this... in addition to the upfront cost of yearly service, I also paid $2,600.00 for installation of a two-zone sprinkler system and Bermuda sod in my front and side yards described above. While any customer who pays up front for a year's worth of service should be provided exceptional service, I felt even more invested. Unfortunately, the lawn service has ranged from disappointing to absolutely unsatisfactory. Except for the first two treatments, I have had to contact Southern Green for treatments of which I have paid in advance. My rear (Centipede) and Westerly side (Bermuda) lawn is unsightly with weeds, even though I was assured after no later than the 3rd treatment - my weed problem should be remedied.
  
  Over the past 60 days, after not receiving answers to my many calls, nor any return calls to my messages - I decided to visit the office in an attempt to pick up my adjustment key and lay plans for my yard, only to travel to the physical address displayed which led me to a wooded area out near Jedburg and Orangeburg roads.
  
  Learn from my mistakes, pay for a few single applications from multiple vendors for trial runs, don't get trapped in the explanation that it takes multiple treatments to see results. You may not see the initial savings for a few months, however you won't be out the cost incurred of selecting the wrong lawn care vendor for an entire year... and after a few months, you can always take advantage of annual savings by contracting the right lawn care specialist for a year.
  
  I have cancelled my service and am willing to forfeit the money I paid for an annual contract just so they don't treat my yard for the three remaining applications.OVER PROMISED and UNDER DELIVERED is an understatement!
